Elizabeth A. Brekhus

Elizabeth Brekhus has been practicing real property litigation, municipal law and land use in Marin County and the Greater Bay Area since 1997. Elizabeth has substantial trial experience and tries, on average, two cases a year. This level of trial experience sets her apart from other litigators, and her reputation as a trial lawyer benefits her clients regardless of whether their matter needs to be tried or simply settled.

She has served 12 years on the Town Council of Ross, including as Mayor in 2014, 2019, and 2024. She was President of the Ross Valley Fire Board in 2018 and President of the Marin County Council of Mayors and Council Members in 2016. She is a past President of the Marin County Bar Association.
